William Bussey has spent his entire 46-year career in career-technical education, starting as a Vocational Agriculture teacher and then moving into administration as a secondary supervisor at C-TEC of Licking County. He moved on after eight years to be director of Adult Education at Eastland- Fairfield Career Technical Schools for eleven years. Bill was superintendent at Mid-East Career Technical Centers for fifteen years and was Director of the Office of Career Technical Education at the Ohio Department of Education from August of 2014 through August of 2015. Bill has been interim OTC Director for extended periods at Delaware Area Career Center and Scioto County Career Technical Center. He is currently Executive Director of the Ohio Technical Centers.
Bill has held many leadership positions throughout his career. He has been President of Ohio ACTE, the Ohio Association of Career Technical Superintendents, the Adult Education Division of Ohio ACTE, and NCLA.
Bill is passionate about Career -Technical Education and is excited to be working more directly with adult education administrators again.
